Galileo Galilei: father, hero, heretic. When a chance discovery leads to show of a seismic shift in scientific thinking, Galileo sparks a unsafe dispute with authority. To claiming the idea that the earth is the centre of the universe is to challenge the all-powerful Roman Cosmic Church building. Brecht's dramatisation of the boxing between conventionalities and reason considers whether proof matters when dogma reigns.
Featuring original music past Justin Ellington and directed by PlayMakers' Producing Artistic Director Vivienne Benesch.
